Girija Devi Polytechnic College being established in 2011 aims at providing its students with diploma degrees under the engineering stream across 4 courses. It is the first Polytechnic college of Bhojpur, Bihar. The college is famous in the Bihiya region of Bhojpur for it’s engineering course in Mechanical branch. The college admits students on the basis of merit obtained in an entrance exam called BPTPIA (Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association). Some of the top courses offered at GDPC are Mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering and electrical engineering.
