Merit has been made the base of selection 

A major change is being made in the selection process of Anganwadi workers and assistant across the state. This is happening to prevent rigging in the selection of them. The department is preparing a new draft which will soon be sent to the cabinet for approval. Merit has been made the basis in the selection of Sevika and Sahayika.

Once the approval is made, candidates with at least Matriculation and maximum graduate, PG etc will get to apply. After the completion of the selection process on the basis of the new draft, all the certificates of the applicant will be sent to the education department.
