The Bihar government has given great relief to the students taking medical education from this new session 2023-24. Half of the seats i.e. 585 seats in all the nine private medical colleges and deemed universities of the state and the tuition fee will be the same as in government medical colleges. In such a situation, those who enroll in these will have to pay only Rs 40 thousand 800 for enrollment instead of 13 lakh annual fees and will have to pay an annual fee of Rs 22 thousand seven hundred. Apart from enrollment fee and annual fee, the state government has also fixed the fee for open seats in all private medical colleges. Following the instructions of the National Medical Commission, the state government has fixed the educational fee of government medical colleges. Its resolution has also been issued.

Here, on the orders of the Supreme Court, the government has fixed the educational fee for seats in five private medical colleges. These include:
- Radha Devi Jageshwari Medical College, Turkey, Muzaffarpur,
- Narayan Medical College Saharsa,
- Lord Buddha Kosi Medical College Saharsa,
- Netaji Subhash Medical College Bihta,
- Madhubani Medical College Madhubani.
