Oriental College of Education is situated at the entry point to the city of Darbhanga. The Educational backwardness and growing number of unemployed youth in the Society especially in minority community necessited the establishment of Oriental College of Education. The college works under the aegis of AL-UMMA educational and welfare society with the registration number 1228/04 under the society of registration Act 21, 1860

Admission Procedure:
- Admission in bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course will be held in the month of June every year. Through the CET conducted by L.N. Mithila University,Darbhanga
- Prescribed application form and prospectus may be obtained from the office of the DSW, L.N Mithila University, Darbhanga on payment of Rs. 1000.00 by D.D. Form can also be down load from official website of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.
- Application form properly filled should be submitted to the office of the DSW L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga directly ‘or’ by Registered post.
Eligibility
- A candidate seeking admission in B.Ed. course must have passed the Bachelor Examination or Masters Examination in Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities or Engineering with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University of India .(Reservation criteria for relaxation in eligibility for admission is as per the rules of State Government)
