About College:
Govt.Polytechnic Jamui was established by Govt. of Bihar in 2016 under the Department of Science and Technology. Govt. Polytechnic Jamui is situated on the place of Lord Mahavir. It is one of the fast growing technical institutes in Bihar. It is a fully government polytechnic college managed by the Govt. of Bihar under administrative control of department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar. The college is AICTE approved and its affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Bihar, Patna. Govt. Polytechnic Jamui presently offers a diploma courses in four streams of engineering, civil engg, Electrical Engg., Electronics Engg. and Mechanical Engg.

Admission Process:
The BCECE Board conducts Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination for admission in Government Polytechnic Jamui and AICTE approved Private Polytechnic in the State of Bihar.:
Minimum Qualification
Only those candidates can get admission who are the citizen of India and
- Their parents are the native of Bihar.
- Their parents are domiciled in Bihar.
- Their parents are registered refugee of Bihar.
- Their parents are native of other states but employee of Govt. of Bihar.
