B. N. College of Education, Dhoraiya, Banka is a co-educational institution imparting B.Ed & D.El.Ed courses. The College owes its inception in December 2007 (B.Ed.) 2016 (D.El.Ed.) with a view to provide professional and Job-oriented education to a large segment of younger generation coming for rural and remote areas with low and middle income background. It runs under the management of a society and caters to the need and aspiration of youth force from North-Eastern Bihar including adjoining Jharkhand. The college is situated in the serene rural natural setting at Dhoraiya, a Block-cum-Anchal headquarter, well connected by road from Banka town 28 kms in the west, Bhagalpur City 40 kms away in the North, Kahalgoan 40 kms in the East and Godda 30 kms S-E. The entire area is habited by dalits, tribals, backwards and minorities.
