Acharya Narendra Deo College, Shahpur Patory, Samastipur’’ is an Indian Acharya Narendra Deo College, Shahpur Patory, Samastipur, a 54 years old prestigious institution in Bihar, named after a great educationist of India “Achraya Narendra Deo” was established in 1960 with a specific purpose to promote merit of rural youths, preserve and develop Maithili culture and language and open up new vistas in the field of Arts, Science & Commerce. Another important accomplishment of our college is accreditation award of ‘B grade’ by NAAC, Bangalore in 2005. The college has been able to get grants to the tune of about 40 lac during the last five years plan from UGC, New Delhi & Govt. of Bihar (Deptt. of Higher Education). Admission Procedure:
- The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A),Bachelor of Science(B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com.) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks.
- Students need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various states and Independent educational bodies and universities for admission in various teaching institutions attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam.
- These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of Objective type questions about English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states.
