SHRESHTA Scheme 2023

There will be an exam on June 18 for Shrestha Yojana. The responsibility of conducting the examination for the year 2023 has been entrusted to NTA. Meritorious and promising students of scheduled caste get the benefit of this scheme.

Students will be provided residential education through private schools on behalf of the central government under the scheme. The aim of the scheme is to reduce the dropout rate of students of classes 9 to 12 due to weak economic condition. Whatever amount will be spent on the education of the children, it will be given by the central government. The last date to apply online is May 24.
