About us :

The College is Centrally located at East of kargil Chowk, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, occupying an area of 5.98 Acres of land Containing well furnished blocks for Science, Arts and Commerce faculty. Well equipped laboratory for Science faculty: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and for Arts Faculty: Psychology, Geography, is available in this College.The College is located at 25 kms North-East from University of Nalanda, Rajgir and 90 Kms South-East from Patna. The College is about 3 Kms from Bihar Sharif Railway Station & directly linked with .Patna- Ranchi National Highway at Kargil Chowk, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda. The College is located very near to Pawapuri, a holy and worship place for Janis, well known as Nirvana place of Lord Mahavir. Really, it is a place of Spiritual feelings.
Administrative block, Seminar Hall and other facilities are also available inside the College premises. Every Year approximately 4000 Students are admitted to various courses offered by the college. There are about 115 (One Hundred fifteen) teachers involved in academic activities.
Late Pairu Mahto and his wife Somari Devi were social worker and educationist was a resident of Bari Pahari, Bihar Sharif. The name of the college is on the name of such educationist. He was the former chairman of Bihar Municipal Corporation, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda. P.M.S, College Paharpura, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda was founded and managed by a social worker and patriot Sri Baldeo Prasad. The parts of college building along with other assets were built by Sri Baldeo Prasad, former Secretary of the College.
