33 Medical Colleges in Bihar With 4500 MBBS Seats

Bihar is fast working in the direction of health sector. For the treatment of patients and  medical education, state government is increasing its infrastructure. By the year 2027, there will be 33 medical colleges in Bihar alone which will cover 26 districts. The strength of these colleges will be so high that 4500 seats for MBBS will be available here.

At present there are 20 medical colleges and hospitals in 13 districts of Bihar. By the year 2027 there will be 33 medical colleges and hospitals covering  26 districts. Each medical college  will have 150 seats for MBBS and 500 to 1000 bedding capacity. To tackle with pandemic like situation in future, these all preparation will be highly fruitful.

This time the state has 20 medical colleges which includes 8 private medical colleges. Students take admission on 2540 MBBS seats which will be almost double by the year 2027.
